As active members of the community, we're committed to giving back through charitable initiatives that support education and families in need. We created Blenheim in the Community to make a lasting, positive impact on the neighbourhoods where we live and work.
Over the years, we have supported numerous charities through volunteering, fundraising and financial donations. We also combine team building with fundraising, by hosting football events where we can enjoy playing a team sport while raising money for the likes of Blue Cross and Multiple Sclerosis.
It is a real privilege to be able to assist the following organisations as they carry out important work providing families with food, offering access to arts education and ensuring children in poverty receive Christmas presents.
Our main charity partner, we have raised over £28,000 for S6 Foodbank through monthly contributions from the business and on behalf of clients. Additionally, our team has volunteered in their main warehouse, organising stock and making food parcels, and we used our promotional platforms to share S6 Foodbank’s mission, creating video content to inform and encourage donations.
Partnering with Sheffield Theatres, we supported Mercia’s initiative to get primary school children involved in the arts, creating enriching experiences and the opportunity to learn new skills. Artists and directors from Sheffield Theatres hosted workshops with children and teachers, showcasing performances by the children at the Trust’s annual conference at the Crucible.
Over the years, we have provided financial support for school performances at various schools across Sheffield, including High Storrs School and King Ecgbert School. We’ve also supported Sheffield Girls’ with their annual events.
For over five years, we have supported Hits Radio’s Christmas campaign by acting as a drop-off point for the community to bring new, unwrapped gifts for children living in poverty across Sheffield. We deliver the presents to Hits Radio’s HQ before Christmas, where their team of volunteers distribute the gifts to children in need, ensuring every child has a present on Christmas Day.
Each Christmas, we select a charity that has had an impact on someone in our team or their loved ones. In 2024, we raised over £2,800 for Prostate Cancer UK; in 2023, we raised over £1,400 for Cheshire Search & Rescue; and in 2022 we raised £1,075 for Kidney Research UK.
