A beautiful journey awaits along the winding paths of Sheffield Botanical Gardens, taking in over 18 themed garden areas, a bear pit and an impressive pavilion that holds a listed status. There is a local swimming pool at King Edwards, where timetabled sessions and children’s swimming lessons are available. A stone’s throw away are two of Sheffield’s most well-known parks, Endcliffe and Bingham, which provide idyllic surroundings for walking, running and cycling, year-round. There is also Weston Park, a park of over five hectares with Weston Park Museum adjacent. Free to enter, the museum is the largest in Sheffield and runs engaging exhibitions for all ages that uncover interesting stories from Sheffield’s past. Ecclesall and Glossop Road are the main hubs for access to buses, with multiple routes connecting you to various parts of Sheffield, including but not limited to, the city centre, Bents Green, Fulwood, Dore, Meadowhall and to the Peak District via Manchester Road. Sheffield train station is close by for journeys on the Supertram network, National Rail and Northern services. Broomhill and Sharrow are well connected by main road links to the North of the city, the A57 to Manchester and Sheffield Parkway to Rotherham, leading to the M1.
